PROJECTS > TEACHING

Clara coaches opera students in acting and movement for the stage, offering playful, personal, and practical methods for embodying epic characters and storytelling. She has worked with vocal students in opera workshop classes and masterclasses at Brown University, Providence College, and Portland State University.

Clara also creates safe, supportive, and empowering performance training and production experiences for adults with disabilities. As a teaching artist at the Trinity Repertory Company Education Department in Providence, Rhode Island, Clara launched a theatre class for adults with disabilities at proAbility and directed their first play, a holiday readers theatre production. She adapted and directed an all-abilities community production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL for Artists' Exchange in Cranston, Rhode Island, featuring an ensemble of 33 performers from ages 8 to 80.
